Agentic AI that elevates humanity

Based out of NYC
Operating philosophy

The vision

Why

AI should give people their time and their best work back. Not replace the person — clear the noise around them.

How

Start with one real workflow. Keep a person in charge of every decision that matters. Prove it works, then grow.

Day to day

The AI drafts, sorts and follows up. Your team reviews, decides and builds the relationships.

The goal isn’t fewer people. It’s people doing more of what only they can do.

Curiosity drives the work. Discipline keeps it on the road.

Where this is going

Vision

AI working beside people, not instead of them.

Most teams lose hours every day to copying, sorting, chasing and retyping. I build agentic AI into the workflow you already have, so that work gets done quietly in the background and your people get back to the parts that need a person: judgment, relationships and closing.

🚀
Elevate people
Your team spends its day on the work it was hired for, and does its best work.
🔁
Remove repetitive tasks
Copying, sorting, reminders and status updates happen on their own.
🤝
Sales focus on selling and closing
Leads arrive sorted, follow-ups are drafted, reps spend their time in conversations and close more.
📊
Owners see everything in one place
One clear view of leads, jobs and follow-ups, without chasing anyone for an update.
🗂️
Support and admin stop retyping data
Information is captured once and flows where it needs to go.
🤖
Agentic AI in the workflow
The AI drafts, follows up and prepares the next step. A person approves.

How to Automate a Team Budget Sheet With AI Tools

Small business owner reviewing a printed budget worksheet at a wooden desk near a window

A few months ago, a task on my own desk took far longer than it should have. I was filling out a spreadsheet manually, copying figures from one place to another and checking the same totals twice. Nothing about it was hard. It was just slow, and it was exactly the kind of work an agent can handle.

That experience is why I now treat a team budget as a good first project for AI. If you want a budget for the team using Claude Code and AI tools, the setup is simpler than most owners expect, but the details still matter.

Start with the repetitive part

Budget sheets are full of predictable steps: pulling numbers in, applying the same categories, formatting rows and flagging totals that look wrong. Those steps eat hours every month. They also have a clear outcome, so you can tell when the work was done right. For a broader view of how I split this kind of work, read my post on the 20/60/20 rule for working with AI.

Adoption is already moving this way. Federal data shows AI use growing across firm sizes, with AI use growing between December 2025 and May 2026 across firm sizes and sectors, according to the Census Bureau's Business Trends and Outlook Survey. Larger firms are adopting faster, which makes sense, since they have more repetitive reporting to automate.

Consistency is where most setups fail

The mistake I see most often is inconsistency. One person asks the AI for a budget in one format, someone else uses a different prompt, and the sheets stop matching each other. Nobody can compare months or trust the totals. Before you build anything, write down the categories, the naming rules and the format the whole team will use, then have Claude Code follow those rules every time.

Research backs up the idea that structure matters more than the tool. A Harvard Business Review piece on AI-generated "workslop" describes how output that looks finished can still create extra cleanup for everyone downstream. A shared standard prevents that.

Keep a person in charge of the numbers

A budget drives real decisions about money and people, so a person has to own the final sheet. Decide who reviews the output, what the AI is allowed to do on its own, and what always needs sign-off. A simple rule works well: the AI drafts and calculates, and a named person checks the totals before anyone acts on them.

This is also where the time savings show up. For the mediocre, repetitive parts of the budget, the AI does the job quickly and well. The review takes minutes instead of hours, and your team can spend that time on the choices that actually need judgment. If you are weighing how much to hand over, my post on an AI employee that works beside you explains how I think about that line.

Roll it out one step at a time

Begin with one budget, one team and one clear output. Once the sheet runs consistently for a full cycle, add the next piece. Teaching the team the inputs it expects and what a good result looks like matters more than any single prompt.

Common questions

Do I need to be a developer to use Claude Code for a budget? Not necessarily. Someone on the team should be comfortable with spreadsheets and the data involved, and the business owner still decides the categories and approval rules.

How do I know the budget sheet is accurate? Check the totals against your source records for the first few cycles. Once the numbers match consistently, you can reduce the checking to a quick review.

If you want help setting this up for your team, I am happy to talk it through.
