Agentic AI that elevates humanity

Operating philosophy

The vision

Why

AI should give people their time and their best work back. Not replace the person — clear the noise around them.

How

Start with one real workflow. Keep a person in charge of every decision that matters. Prove it works, then grow.

Day to day

The AI drafts, sorts and follows up. Your team reviews, decides and builds the relationships.

The goal isn’t fewer people. It’s people doing more of what only they can do.

Curiosity drives the work. Discipline keeps it on the road.

Where this is going

Vision

AI working beside people, not instead of them.

Most teams lose hours every day to copying, sorting, chasing and retyping. I build agentic AI into the workflow you already have, so that work gets done quietly in the background and your people get back to the parts that need a person: judgment, relationships and closing.

🚀
Elevate people
Your team spends its day on the work it was hired for, and does its best work.
🔁
Remove repetitive tasks
Copying, sorting, reminders and status updates happen on their own.
🤝
Sales focus on selling and closing
Leads arrive sorted, follow-ups are drafted, reps spend their time in conversations and close more.
📊
Owners see everything in one place
One clear view of leads, jobs and follow-ups, without chasing anyone for an update.
🗂️
Support and admin stop retyping data
Information is captured once and flows where it needs to go.
🤖
Agentic AI in the workflow
The AI drafts, follows up and prepares the next step. A person approves.
🌱
Start small, grow with confidence
One workflow first, measured and trusted, then the next.

Let’s talk about your workflow.

Build AI Agent for Team to Use Together: A Practical Guide

Three coworkers review a printed checklist together at a tidy wooden desk in bright light

Most small teams I talk with are not short on skill. They are short on hours, and a lot of those hours disappear into repetitive tasks that nobody enjoys. Copying details from one system to another, writing the same follow-up email, sorting the same requests every morning. An internal agent can take much of that off the team's plate, and you can build one your whole team uses together.

Before you build anything, look at where your week actually goes. The repetitive tasks are the best place to start, because they are predictable, easy to check, and easy to measure. For more on how I think about splitting the work between people and AI, read my post on the 20/60/20 rule for working with AI.

Start with the repetitive work

Pick one task your team repeats every day or every week. It should have a clear outcome, so you know when the agent did it right. Lead routing, status updates, data entry and first drafts are common starting points.

I have seen this approach pay off in my own work. The agent now handles a 60% drop in repetitive tasks that it does cleanly, which lets the team focus on what matters most. Recent federal data also shows how quickly firms are adopting these tools, with AI use growing across firm sizes and sectors according to the Census Bureau's Business Trends and Outlook Survey.

The mistake I see most often

The mistake I see most often is spending all the energy on setting up the connectors and tools. Owners get excited about linking every system they own, then the agent sits there with access to everything and no clear job. Connect only what the first task needs, and get that one workflow running well before you add anything else.

An agent that does one job reliably beats a connected system that does nothing useful. Once the first workflow earns trust, you can expand. Our sister post on an AI employee that works beside you covers what that looks like in practice.

Keep a person in charge

A shared agent touches real customers and real records, so a person has to stay accountable for what it produces. Decide who reviews the output, what the agent is allowed to do on its own, and what always needs approval. Write that down so everyone on the team knows the rules.

This is not a limit on the technology. It is what makes the team trust it enough to use it every day.

Roll it out to the whole team

Once the first workflow is steady, teach the rest of the team how to use it. Show them the inputs it expects, what a good result looks like, and how to flag a bad one. A shared agent only works if people feel safe using it and know who to ask when something looks wrong.

Common questions

Do I need to be a developer to build an internal agent? Not necessarily, but someone on the team should be comfortable with the tools and the data involved. Claude Code can help with the build, and the business owner still makes the decisions about scope and approval.

How do I know the agent is working? Measure the time the team spends on the target task before and after. If the hours drop and the output still meets your standard, it is working.

What should I avoid at the start? Avoid connecting every tool at once and giving the agent broad access before it has proven one workflow.

If you are thinking about building an agent for your own team, I am happy to talk it through.
